Mera Peak Expedition (6461 meters)

The majestic Mera Peak is a sought-after destination for (beginning) mountaineers. The climb to the summit of over 6400 meters is not technical, but incredibly beautiful. At the highest point, you are rewarded with views of the world's highest mountains, such as Everest, Lhotse, Kanchenjunga, and Makalu. The trek to the base of the mountain itself can also be considered one of the most beautiful hikes in the Himalayas.

Momo Trekking Mera Peak Expedition 2024

Difficulty

The expedition to Mera Peak is challenging. Not because of technical difficulties, but due to the high altitudes we will be navigating. To reach the base of the mountain, we hike daily for 4 to 8 hours. On the summit day itself, we will be active for at least 10 hours. However, this could be longer depending on your own pace.

Mera Peak is not technically a difficult mountain, but we do require our guests to have good physical condition and basic crampon skills.
